The Smell Grate is produced for both the new construction and retro-fit market, with the aim of reducing plumbing and maintenance costs to both residential and commercial users.
The unique design of the Smell Grate prevents both odours coming back through the sewer system and soap suds coming up through the floor waste drains.
Allowing water to drain through the floor waste, the Smell Grate's unique design, also allows water to be held in the well forming a water seal on the floor drain. This holding well also acts to prevent soap suds from washing machines coming back through the floor waste.
